We are not for the ones who want to be impressive. We are for the ones who want to be impressed

Book your next adventure with us at our remote lodge on Kodiak Island, Alaska.

At Kodiak Wilderness Lodge, we've built something simple and rare — a place where the fishing is world-class, the food comes from the wild around you, the evenings go as long as the stories last, and every guest leaves feeling like family. John guides you to the salmon, the halibut, the quiet coves, and the brown bears on the beach. Sarah makes sure that when you come back, dinner is ready and the fire is going. Because that's what we built.

John spent twenty years as a Coast Guard rescue swimmer before becoming one of Kodiak's most trusted guides. Sarah is Sugpiaq Alutiiq with roots that run generations deep on this island, and brings her love of Kodiak's culture and history into every corner of the lodge. Together they've made their life on Kodiak — raising children, running this lodge, and welcoming strangers who leave as friends.

If days on the water with someone who knows where the fish are, the smell of something good coming from the kitchen, and a place that feels like home have been circling your mind, this is a good time to stop thinking and start planning.

Come find out what that feels like.

We are not a destination. We are a return.

“Watching the landscape while you're on the water is something you can't put a price on."

"Sarah's hospitality made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. The food was absolutely incredible.”

"Let me stay all summer."
